The repression of cultural and social activists in Iranian Kurdistan is on the rise
On Sunday, April 7, 2024, Rasoul Galaban, a journalist and media activist in Urmia, was arrested by the Iranian Cyber Police.
According to a report received by Avatoday, Rasoul Galaban was arrested by the security forces following a complaint filed by the Urmia prosecutor general.
Rasoul Galaban is a media activist, owner of privileges, and director of Urmia 24 news site.
