Iran's armed forces will target Israel's heart if it makes "the slightest move" against the Islamic Republic, President Ebrahim Raisi said during a military parade on Monday.

Raisi also warned against Israel’s normalization attempts with the countries in the region, according to state news agency IRNA.

“In case of the smallest move by the Israeli regime against the Iranian nation, the heart of Israel would be the destination for Iran’s armed forces,” Raisi said.

He especially praised US designated terrorist organization of Iranian Revolutionary Guards as the most important component of power in Iran and added that the country's military power is well-known not only in region but also around the world.

Raisi’s remarks came as talks stalled in Vienna over a deal to restrict Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Israel opposes the deal, known as The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), saying it does not do enough to curb Iran’s nuclear program or its military activities across the region.

Iran has not recognized Israel since the 1979 Islamic Revolution that brought Islamists to power. The regime supports anti-Israeli militant groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

Israeli officials have said they will unilaterally do what’s necessary to protect their country.
