The sentence of four years, one month, and 17 days of discretionary imprisonment issued against Hossein Bahadori, one of the citizens accused in connection with the protests of December 2025 in Hamedan, has been upheld by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to reports by human rights activists, the sentence of four years, one month, and 17 days of discretionary imprisonment for Hossein Bahadori, a resident of Hamedan, was upheld by Branch 11 of the Hamedan Province Court of Appeals.

He had previously been sentenced by Branch 2 of the Hamedan Revolutionary Court to three years, six months, and one day in prison on charges of "assembly and collusion to commit crimes against internal and external security," and to seven months and 16 days of discretionary imprisonment on charges of "propaganda against the government."

Hossein Bahadori was arrested by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the December 2025 protests and, after 23 days, was temporarily released from prison upon posting bail of 10 billion rials pending the completion of judicial proceedings.

This citizen had also previously been detained by government authorities in connection with his activities.
