The United States has deployed reinforcement and ammunition in several military bases in Iraq as tension with Iran escalated.
“US has increased forces and ammunitions in Harir, Ramadieh and Baghdad,” a security source told Avatoday on condition of anonymity and without giving further details.
Tension between Tehran and Washington has raised since May 2018 when US President Donald Trump withdrew from Iran nuclear deal.
In a separate move, the US State Department has officially designated the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as “a foreign terrorist group” on Monday, April 15, 2019.
