Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has announced on Monday that Tehran will continue to scale back from Nuclear commitments signed in 2015.
Rouhani, speaking on state television, said this move comes as European countries have failed to fulfill their own commitments under the deal.
Meanwhile “A team of British nuclear experts led by UK Chief Scientific Adviser Professor Robin Grimes arrived in Tehran today to take forward the next stages of the modernization of the Arak reactor, alongside a team of Chinese experts,” said the British embassy.
According to AFP, the British team will stay for three days in Iran.
In May 2018, US president Donald Trump withdrew from Iran’s nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Tensions have been rising between the two countries since then.
