Aziz Asbari, member of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and expert in producing missile, killed on Tuesday in Syria. He considered to be among the top missile expert of Islamic regime.

 

Abu Amara, commander and a Syrian militant fighting against Assad’s regime, claimed the responsibility for Asbari’s death.

 

Syrian regime previously confirmed the news by blaming Israel for killing the Iranian top expert.   

 

The 63-years-old Asbari was also an old friend and fellow of Qasem Soleimani, Iranian Major General in IRGC and commander of its Quds force.  

 

He was reportedly killed in the village of Dirma in Masyaf, northwest of Syria, where Israel destroyed Iranian military bases months ago. The bases however reconstructed underground by Iranians under the monitoring of Soleimani.  

 

Asbari was among the Sanctions list in Syria by the United States.
