Iranian workers in the oil and gas industry held nationwide demonstrations on Wednesday morning, some of the participants sent footage of the gathering to Avatoday.
The workers, according to two participants who talked on condition of anonymity, protested poor living conditions, and the authorities' failure to increase their low salaries and address their demands.
Demonstrations were held in Abadan, Ahvaz, Asaluyeh, Gurcharan.
Protesters, who were employees of the National Iranian oil company, worked in places like the Abadan Refinery, Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Organization, Gachsaran oil field, and Iranian offshore oil fields such as Bahregan and Abuzar.
