Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Thursday that Tehran will strongly react against any violation of its borders, the Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Tasnim news agency reported.
“The downing of American drone was a good lesson for them to avoid any aggression against our borders,” Larijani said, “Iran’s reaction will be stronger if they repeat their mistake.”
Tension rose between Iran and the United States once again as Tehran shut down US drone on June 20. US president Donald Trump ordered limited air strike in response to Iran, but he reportedly called it off in the last ten minutes.
On June 24, Washington sanctioned Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and numbers of top commanders within Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
