Coronavirus in Iran: Critical situation in a Kurdish city

Avatoday sources in Kermanshah on Sunday revealed that the city’s two hospitals are full of patients, some suspected or others diagnosed with Coronavirus.

On condition of anonymity, several personals confirmed to Avatoday that they have not received enough masks, clothes and gloves.

Hundreds of people died, and thousands are hospitalized in Iran. The total number of victims and infected are not clear as government is reportedly hiding the actual statistics.In the city of Kerman, a local official claimed that 44 percent of patients are among the medical team and explained that the city is suffering from lack of adequate medical facilities and shortages of masks and gloves.

A video published on social media on Sunday shows a man lying down in the middle of street in front of a hospital in the city of Rasht.

The man, who is recording the footage, claims that the patient has not been accepted by hospital authorities as it is already full of patients.
