Iranian authorities forced to set up a field hospital in the city of Qazvin as a new coronavirus outbreak throughout the country requires more medical services, officials confirmed the news.

“The establishment of a field hospital in Qazvin was the primary decision of the extraordinary meeting of the Coronavirus Prevention Task Force in Qazvin Province chaired by the governor of Qazvin on Friday night,” IRNA quoted Director General of Crisis Management of Qazvin Province Ghodratollah Mahdikhani.

The hospital has reportedly set up in the site of the city’s international exhibitions to provide medical services to patients with the new coronavirus.

On Sunday, several reports noted that Iran called on all hospitals to offer services to the patients diagnosed with the virus.

Several patients in the past few days told Avatoday that they have not been accepted in hospitals despite their severe health conditions.

Previous statistic reported to Avatoday last Wednesday claimed that 488 people died of the virus in Iran and at least 6000 cases were reported to hospitals throughout the country.

Numbers of reports noted that Iranian regime has been denying the death toll and arrested several doctors and nurses who have been accused of leaking the information.
