Iranian Supreme Leader’s representative in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Quds force accused UNICEF of “promoting western lifestyle and destroying the unity of Iranian families.”
Ali Shirazi, representative of Ali Khamenei, has published a statement in Tasnim News Agency claiming that “changing Islamic lifestyle to the western lifestyle is one of UNICEF’s evil incentives.”
He also claims that UNICEF is funded by the American USAID and that the two organizations “are using aids from other institutions to carry out their evil plans and to ruin Iran’s Islamic culture.”
Shirazi added that UNICEF is using children’s rights for “expanding western culture” by “brainwashing children” with western values.
He called on Islamic states to prevent international institutions that are expanding western cultures. “If we don’t stop them, we would be expanding their evil agenda in the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
