Iranian activists ask for international support during Poland’s Middle East Summit for people of Iran and against the Islamic Republic.
Poland decided on Friday that Iran would not be invited to the Middle East Summit due to Tehran’s increasing tensions with the United States, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister announced.
“We, the Iranian people are friends with all the people around the world,” an activist wrote on a paper, adding that Iran has taken its own people as hostage.
“We ask the people of the world to support Iranian,” she continued.
A global summit focused on Iran is scheduled to take place in Warsaw on February 13 and 14. tama
Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and US secretary of State Mike Pompeo are expected to co-host the conference.
