According to reports received by Avatoday, on the evening of Friday, October 24, Iranian border guards opened fire on a group of Kurdish Kolbars near the Baneh border area.
As a result of the shooting, Ebrahim Piranzad, a resident of “Bilu” village in “Baneh”, a city of Iranian Kurdistan, was killed after being shot in the heart in the Sardaw border region.
In this inhuman act, another Kolbar named Shaho (last name unknown) was seriously injured.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Iranian forces fired without any prior warning.
The body of Ebrahim Piranzad was transferred to Salahaddin Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh, but as of the time of this report, his body has not yet been handed over to his family.
Local sources also stated that the injured Kolbar was taken to the same hospital for medical treatment.
According to reports, Ebrahim Piranzad was married and the father of one child.
