Iran and Azerbaijan are once again at odds over Baku’s growing ties with Israel, with Tehran raising concerns during a high-level meeting between officials from both countries over the weekend.
During talks in Tehran, Kamal Kharrazi, chairman of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations and a top adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned Azerbaijan about Israel’s expanding presence in the country.
