According to a letter obtained by Avatoday on Tuesday, Iran’s Plan and Budget Organization urged governmental offices to sell extra and unnecessary belongings to provide the salary of retired employees.
“For providing the salary of retired employees,” the letter says, “The necessary actions must be taken to sell extra and unnecessary belongings.”
Iran has been dealing with severe financial difficulties since May 2018, when US President Donald Trum withdrew from 2015- nuclear deal between Iran and world powers and impose new rounds of Sanctions on Tehran.
