Two sources from the city of Khorramabad in Lorestan Province have reported to Avatoday that state agents dressing in nurses’ uniforms visited the hospitals to secretly evacuate bodies of victims of Coronavirus.

“There is a very high rate of infectivity and deaths due to the Coronavirus in all the hospitals in Khorramabad,” one of the sources revealed.

Another source, who also talked to Avatoday on condition of anonymity, said there is a lack of space in the hospitals and they cannot accept new patients.

The government has reportedly attempting to build up field hospital in Salehi Rod stadium.

Iran is highly criticized for its late and inappropriate respond to the crisis.

The country’s officials have allegedly ignored the spread of the virus, denying the truth, in an attempt to encourage people to participate in the annual march of the Islamic Republic’s anniversary as well as its parliamentary election.

Local officials including members of parliaments have warned about what they have called “a human catastrophe” due to the crisis.
