Iran has reportedly sent masks, sanitizer, and protective cloths to Syria amid a Coronavirus outbreak in the region despite domestic needs.
Avatoday’s source in Iran said on Tuesday that an airplane loaded with medical supplies has departed from Tehran to Damascus.
“Today, Tuesday March 17, Mahan Air’s airbus A310-304 loaded with 2 tons of masks, cleaner, and protective cloths left Iran’s Khomeini Airport around 12 o’clock and landed back at Tehran around 5 in the afternoon same day,” the source said. “It headed to Syria.”
Iranian hospitals have been suffering from medical and protective products as the number of victims of the new Coronavirus in Iran are increasing.
