Avatoday sources in several prisons across Iran said that the situation inside prisons are critical as detainees suffer from shortage of sanitary supplies. The sources also added that so far, no political detainee have been freed.

Political detainees in Iran made an announcement on Tuesday, asking World Health Organization to visit the country’s prisons to prevent a “human catastrophe”.

According to a source, some 13 residents of Kurdish city of Sardasht are suspected of carrying Coronavirus, the test result of four more cases are positive.  Sardasht was targeted by chemical weapon in June 1987 by Saddam regime, hundreds of dwellers suffer from breathing and lung issues since. The source also said the government have supplied several masks, gloves and a couple of veterans to be shown in media. The rest of the people and even veterans, he said, have no protection products.

Mashhad – Two officers of the city’s traffic department died of Coronavirus.

Saqez – At least four patients with Coronavirus died since last week. Some 60 patients infected with the virus are hospitalized in Shariati hospital.

A video received from Kurdish city of Sarpole Zahab shows a woman possibly infected with Coronavirus, is hardly breathing while lying down in the middle of a street.

Avatoday source in Hamedan said on Tuesday that the situation in the province is critical. “In a small city like Gian, at least 9 people are diagnosed with the virus,” she said.

Source: An employee of Iran Khodro, the state-owned automaker, is diagnosed with Coronavirus. Staff are complaining about the owner’s rejection to shut down the factory.

Video received on Tuesday shows deceased patients with Coronavirus are being buried in Isfahan’s Zarin Shahr.

Three more health personnel across Iran died of Coronavirus on Tuesday.
