Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps reported on Sunday that two of its forces were killed in an armed clash with militants in Keshtgan region near border town of Saravan, southeast Iran.

Two other IRGC forces are reportedly injured.

Since 2004, several armed groups have started to fight Iranian regime, in reaction to what most of them call, "economic, political, and religious discriminations."

Earlier this month, three IRGC members were also killed in a heavy clash in northwest Iran.

Last January, a number of 27 IRGC personnel were killed in an attack carried out by militants in southeast Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
