In a provocative speech, Tehran’s Friday Prayer Imam Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani suggested in case of US attack against Iran, his country can assail Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona region.

Dimona is located in the southern district of Israel, where the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research center is also situated in the outskirt of the city.

In a part of his speech, Movahedi Kermani restated the threat President Hassan Rouhani made against the European parties of JCPOA. “From July 7, we will enrich uranium at any grade and form, and in any amount, we think necessary,” he noted.

Movahedi Kermani’s statements were first published by Iran’s Fars News Agency, which runs by hardliners and it’s known to be one of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps media organizations. Other mainstream state media published the statement but have deleted it shortly after.

This is not the first time that Iranian top officials have expressed their hostile intentions toward Israel; Mojtaba Zonnour, the chairman of national security and foreign policy committee in Iranian parliament, stated a week earlier that “If the U.S. attacks Iran, Israel will be destroyed in half an hour.”

One of the most controversial statements against the existence of Israel was made by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad back in 2005 when he said, “Israel should be wiped off the map.”

While declaring that Israel is preparing for participating in a possible military conflict between the U.S. and Iran, Israeli prime minister said last week that in case of such a war “Iran has no chance.”

The U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham who is the world’s well-known politician, has declared in recent days that if Iran exceeds 3.67 percent limitation of uranium enrichment on Sunday, July 7, they will enter the possible phase of Israel attack on Iran, “because the Israel’s red lines will be breached from that day on
