On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council condemned, in the strongest terms, the "repeated treacherous attacks by the Islamic Republic" against Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.
In his statement, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi expressed strong condemnation of the "repeated aggressions by the Islamic Republic" and emphasized that targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure undermines international and regional efforts to establish security and peace and to resolve the crisis.
He also stated that the Gulf Cooperation Council would support the measures taken by Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan to strengthen security, preserve their sovereignty, and protect their territorial integrity.
Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the Islamic Republic's "repeated aggressions" against the country's territory in a statement.
Referring to the drone and missile attacks carried out on the morning of Thursday, June 11, the statement stressed that the "repetition of these blatant aggressions" demonstrates an "organized aggressive approach," and that the Kuwaiti government would not tolerate it.
The statement described the clear violation of Kuwait's sovereignty as "a blatant violation of the rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations" and as an act that undermines efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the country reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to preserve its security and defend its territory and vital facilities.
