Iran claimed that ten Kurdish Peshmerga forces were killed by Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) during a clash in Shno's Kela Shin on Saturday.

The forces were reportedly from the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), which released a statement today on the clash claiming the responsibility.

“Our forces inside Iranian Kurdistan were ambushed by IRGC forces,” a KDPI commander told Avatoday in condition of anonymity without denying or approving the number of causalities.

Avatoday obtained some information that at least three IRGC forced were killed and several others were wounded.

IRGC’s affiliated Tasnim News Agency cited earlier today that a “terrorist group affiliated with global arrogance (referring to the U.S.) was destroyed while it was trying to enter the country.”

IRGC' s website wrote on Saturday that at least 10 forces were killed and that several other militants were wounded in clashes late Friday. They did not mention if their own forces suffered casualties.

At least ten Iranian border Guards, belong to IRGC were killed on July in an attack near the Iranian and Iraqi Kurdistan border.  The Kurdistan Free Life Party (Pjak) claimed the responsibility after the attack.
