UN Special rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran, Javaid Rehman submitted a report to the organization on Wednesday, expressing his special concern on Iran’s human rights violations and child executions.

“Iran must urgently amend legislation to prohibit the execution of persons who committed [a crime] while below the age of 18 years and as such are children, and urgently amend the legislation to commute all existing sentences for child offenders on death row,” Radio Farda quoted Rehman as saying.

Rehman’s report included a list of suggestion for the Iranian regime in order to enhance human rights at home; a task which Islamic Republic of Iran totally neglected.

Iran has increased further than ever the number of executions with establishing special courts in August 2018 to deal with “economic crimes, which carry death penalties, according to Rehman.
