
Narges Mohammadi, Human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, has protested to the United Nations for holding a memorial ceremony for Ebrahim Raisi in a letter. she is in prison for her human rights activities
“The day of remembrance of Ebrahim Raisi at the United Nations is in fact a day of gratitude for the values of hanging, execution and mass murder against the Iranian people,” Mohammadi said in a letter posted on his Instagram account.
Narges Mohammadi called Ebrahim Raisi "the executioner of the history of Iran" and added: "Until the day of his death, he was an instrument of oppression of a nation."

Mohammadi considered honoring him as a certainty for dictators, oppressors, human rights violators and torturers, that on the day of their death, the flag of the United Nations will be half-raised and politicians and statesmen of the world will offer condolences.
Shirin Ebadi, another winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, also criticized the United Nations General Assembly's announcement of a memorial service for Ebrahim Raisi by publishing a post on her Instagram account.
