In the fifth day of Qasem Sulaimani’s presence in Baghdad, Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Islamic Republic Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei also arrived in the country and has reportedly visited officials from Hashd al-Shabi, al-Dawa, Badr Organization and other pro-Iranian groups, Avatoday’s source in Baghdad reported.

According to the source who talked to Avatoday on condition of anonymity Muqtada al-Sadr,  the leader of Sairoon Alliance has also entered Baghdad.

The source continued that “Sairoon Alliance under al-Sadr, The National Wisdom Movement(al-Hikma) led by Ammar al-Hakimand, Nasr Coalition led by Haidar al-Abadi and secula Al-Wataniya Alliance led by Ayad Allawi have agreed to Iran’s plan and now they are waiting for Kurds in order to reach 165 chairs threshold needed to form the new government.”

Mojtaba Khamenei, the son and representative of the leader of Islamic Republic alongside with Qasem Suliemani, commander of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Quds Force and Mohammad Kosarani, Hezbollah’s envoy for Iraq are spending millions of dollars to prevent the establishment of any possible Shia alliance against Iran in Iraq.

The source explained that the Kurds and Sunnis have a significant role in forming Iraqi new government.

According to the same source, Qasem Suliemani and Mojtaba Khamenei have send their message to Sunnis thru Nouri al-Maliki, the former prime minister.

They promised that “all the Hashd al-Shabi forces will be withdrawn from Sunni areas and the Sunnis rule their own areas, Khamenei and Suliemani have also told Kurds that Kurdistan Region’s share of Iraqi National budget would be delivered regularly and they (the Kurds) will be enjoying more power in Baghdad.”

Mojtaba Khamenei’s role in Iraq could be a start for him to take the position of his father, Ali Khamenei.

A source inside Sairoon Alliance told Avatoday that “Iran is doing its best to prevent Abadi from becoming Iraqi prime minister again. Mojtaba Khamenei’s victory in his mission in Iraq can pave the way for him to get the chair of leadership in Iran which can be impose on Iranians with the help of IRGC.”
