According to a report received by Avatoday, Idris Ali, 31, from Kurdistan of Iran, was sentenced to death by the third branch of the Urmi Revolutionary Court on charges of spying for Israel.
Idris Ali, a father of two, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guards intelligence forces in Sardasht about three months ago.
Idris Ali's case was sent to the Supreme Court after an appeal against his death sentence. He has so far been denied basic rights such as access to a lawyer.
Four others have been arrested in connection with the case, all of whom have been released on bail.
