A member of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran near the camp of this party in the "Zargoiz" area of Sulaymaniyah province in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
According to the reports received by Avatody, on Saturday evening, March 16, Shoaib Zarei, the Peshmerga of Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic with a "waist" weapon and shot in the back of the head.
According to the latest published news, the assailant has been arrested by the security forces of the Kurdistan region in Panjvin city, one of the border towns of Iraqi Kurdistan and Sulaymaniyah province.
The Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan also confirmed this news by issuing a statement and announced: "The Islamic Republic, as the agent of producing and exporting terrorism in the region, must be held accountable for these rampant acts and crimes. Therefore, We expect the international community, the Kurdistan Regional Government, the political parties and currents to condemn the state terrorism of the regime, and take a clear and firm position on this matter.
