Iranian Intelligence Agency told an activist in prison that they will infect him with the new coronavirus unless he signs a written confession by authorities.

Fardin Moradi, an activist from the Kurdish city of Sanandaj, has been arrested since January 22.

According to a member of his family, who talked to Avatoday on condition of anonymity, “interrogators have threatened to infect Fardin with coronavirus if he rejects signing a written confession by authorities.”

Iranian regime is highly criticized for torturing political and social activists in prison aimed at forcing them to confess.
