Attacks by Islamic Republic’s Hackers on Avatoday’s website and social media remained unsuccessful on Tuesday.

Avatoday’s technical team said the hacker, which according to the IPs were based inside Iran and Thailand, were trying to increase load on the servers, but the attempts were failed.

“They started to send 1,600 requests per second to increase load on the servers from 10:00 PM on Monday to 12:00 at noon on Tuesday,” Avatoday Technical manager said, adding that the website was down for an hour to let the servers cool down.

Avatoday is an awareness-rising media project started in November 2017. The Islamic Republic has frequently tried to hack its website and social media networks.
