A member of Iranian Parliament said his country is taking new steps to further reduce its commitments “despite all the threats,” Semi-official ISNA news agency said on Wednesday.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi told the agency that, “the supreme national security council has all the power to decide about the nuclear deal.” He has also accused European partners to the deal of “violating the rules.”
According to the source, Iran is receiving “threats” form Europe, but it decided to ignore them.
“Iran will therefore act based on its plan to reduce its nuclear deal commitments and will not care about these threats,” the Iranian MP claimed.
Britain, France and Germany have been trying to salvage the deal after US withdrawal, but Tehran is seeking relief from sanctions which have been crippling its economy.
