Keyvan Khosravi, Spokesman of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council said on Thursday that numerous foreign officials are visiting Tehran these days to mediate between Iran and the US.

“The visits by foreign officials to Iran have increased, mostly representing America,” Khosravi told IRNA, adding that some of these trips are publicized, while others remain classified.

US president Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 Iran Nuclear deal in May and tensions especially raised between Tehran and Washington since then.

The United States has deployed reinforcement and ammunition in several military bases in neighboring Iran on Monday, while both countries have insisted on their lack of interest in waging war.

“We have been sending messages of our national power, our logic, and our nation’s resistance to all of them,” Khosravi claimed.

He also stated that unless international politics towards Iran remain unchanged, these meetings will not be inadequate.
