A player of Iran’s national football team, Vorya Ghafouri was summoned by intelligence forces over his Instagram posts, which criticized part of Foreign Minister’s speech during Munich conference.

Addressing the Munich conference, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohamad Javad Zarif said “we are so proud of being under pressure for the sake of Palestinians,” justifying Tehran’s interventionist approach to Israel-Palestinian question in the Middle East.

Both Minister and the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, indirectly addressed the football players, accusing them of being “ungrateful.”
