U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated on Tuesday, June 23, that Iran has agreed to the highest level of nuclear inspections of its facilities and that these inspections will continue "forever."

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote that despite Iran's objections and "false claims," and "while the Fake News Media does everything it can to minimize and diminish America's victory," Iran has "fully and completely agreed to the highest level of nuclear inspections for a long period of time."

According to Trump, this will ensure "nuclear honesty." He added, "If they hadn't agreed to this, there would have been no further negotiations."

The first U.S. official to announce Iran's agreement to nuclear inspections was Vice President JD Vance, who said on June 22 that Iran had agreed to inspections of its nuclear facilities and that the process could begin later that week.

However, officials of the Islamic Republic, particularly Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, have denied that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will be allowed to inspect Iran's nuclear facilities.

On Tuesday, Baghaei said that Iran has no plans to allow IAEA inspections of the bombed nuclear sites.

Since the United States and Israel bombed the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities in the summer of 2025, Iran has suspended its cooperation with the IAEA and has prevented the Agency's inspectors from accessing those facilities.
