Mustafa Qulizadeh, an Iranian athlete from Tabriz brought his medals on street on Monday to sell them, in protest of injustice and unemployment in his country.

“My name is Mustafa Qulizadeh, I have master in law and have so far won 39 national medals and won silver medal in the Championship of Iran’s Strongest Men,” Qulizadeh wrote on a banner.

Qulizadeh blamed the officials for not caring about people.

“In protest of injustice and not receiving any answer from authorities, though I have told them many times (that I am jobless,) I sell my medals," he wrote.

Iran is facing severe financial crisis since the US withdrew from nuclear deal in May 2018.
