A large explosion has occurred at the site, where the new Iranian drone called "Gaza" was recently unveiled, two confidential sources told Avatoday.
According to sources inside the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC), the explosion took place at the Ghadiri garrison of IRGC's air defence base near Tehran on Tuesday night.
local reports said the blast was huge and its intensity was such that it demolished some residential buildings around the garrison.
IRGC's chief commander Hossein Salami, and its aerospace force commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, unveiled the massive "Gaza" drone just a few days ago.
There have been no reports yet on the cause of the blast or the level of damage.
