Iranian Minister of Defence on Sunday said their agenda is to follow the Supreme Leader’s call for “complete destruction” of Israel’s capital Tel Aviv and Haifa city.

"The supreme leader's order regarding the destruction of Tel Aviv and Haifa has become a project and is ready to be put in action” Amir Hatami in a military show.

"Israel is not in any position to confront the Islamic Republic of Iran," Hatami said. He called the Israeli officials, "dogs whose barks are bigger than their bites"

The Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei previously had also referred to Israel as a "dirty rabid dog."

Khamenei warned Israel in 2013 that if Israel takes any action, "Iran will wipe out the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa."

It is not the first time that Iranian officials have threatened to attack and destroy Israel. In the past few years, many of the officials referred to the supreme leader's words and spoke of destroying Israel.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had reacted to the threats in 2019.

“I don’t ignore the threats from the Iranian regime, but I’m also not intimidated by them,” Netanyahu said in a Hebrew-language video uploaded to social media.

“If this regime makes the terrible mistake and tries to destroy Tel Aviv or Haifa, it won’t be successful, and it will be the last anniversary of their revolution they will ever celebrate.”
