Touraj Esmaeeli, a top advisor working for the cyber department of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council fled the country on Tuesday, drawing out hundreds of classified documents.
Confidential sources told Avatoday on Sunday “Esmaeeli was in Istanbul when Iranian intelligence agency (Etelaat), in cooperation with Turkish Intelligence agency (MIT) raid his hideout.”
The attempt by Iranian forces to catch the top advisor and hundreds of documents remained unsuccessful.
