Caspian Airlines flight 6936 carrying 144 people crash-landed on a runway and skidded onto a major highway next to an airport on Monday.

Some reports say that the pilots had reported a technical failure.

A video published on social media show Passengers leaving the aircraft from exits doors. At least two people were injured in the incident.

Earlier this month, a Ukraine international flight with 176 people aboard from Tehran to Kiev died when the aircraft was shot down by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
