The US Department of State and the Treasury on Wednesday delivered a complete report of Iranian individuals as well as organizations and banks, which are under US sanctions, the official website stated.

The aim of the sanction list, which contained the names of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ top commanders as well as the entire organization, is to punish human right abusers in Iran.

“The Department of State and the Treasury continue to seek new targets, and the Treasury will designate those persons determined to meet the relevant criteria as information become available,” the report reads.

In its latest move, US has sanctioned Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the country’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
