A top Iranian security official on Monday accused Jerusalem of using “electronic devices” to remotely kill the country’s alleged chief of its nuclear program, which started in the 2000s.
Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of the country’s Supreme National Security Council, made the comment at the funeral for Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
Fakhrizadeh, known as ‘the father of Iran's nuclear weapons was assassinated on Friday near Iranian capital Tehran.
At his funeral, Iran's defense minister vowed to continue the man’s work “with more speed and more power.”
Israel has not officially claimed the responsibility.
