An Iraqi-Arab tribal leader in Nineveh Governorate uncovers, “the Islamic Republic of Iran has provided the Popular Mobilization Forces (known as Hashd al-Shaabi) with ballistic missiles in order to target American military bases in the country.”
Mazahem Havit, the spokesperson of Arab Tribes from the Disputed Territories of Northern Iraq told Avatoday, “We have received detailed and valid information that Iran has delivered these weapons to the PMF forces,” he also clarified “these missiles are ballistic and strategic.”
“We have warned Arab tribes to distance themselves from the bases and PMF militias because we also have the information that they will be targeted by the American forces,” he added.
“We are witnessing a war between America and Iran and Iraq will be a part of that war,” he emphasized. “Iran’s strategy in handing those missiles over to militant forces is to attack the American force, their bases and aircraft, and American forces convoys, so Iran would be able to reduce America’s pressure on Iran.”
Havit asserted, “At the same time the Iranian regime tries to undercut America’s position in Iraq.”
The spokesperson of the Arab tribes in the Disputed Territories mentions, “We and the Americans are fully informed that these militant groups have positioned ballistic missiles in their bases.”
The statements of this Arab personality coincide with infamous Qasem Soleimani’s visit to Iraq, who is the commander Quds force - the extraterritorial unit of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards - that was recently designated as a terrorist organization by the US. Qasem Suleimani had a secret meeting with PMF commanders.
“Qasem Suleimani in his unexpected visit arrived in Iraq and met with armed and militant groups; the objective of that visit was to develop a plan for these militant groups to attack American forces.” Havit said accordingly.
“These attacks would be carried out through these Iranian-made ballistic missiles,” he uncovers.
Another component of Suleimani’s plan is to prepare militant groups against America’s presence in Iraq, so the pressure on Iran in a highly-anticipated war would be reduced.
“At the moment, Qasem Soleimani is in Iraq, and every now and then he travels back and forth between Iraq and Iran, because he is in charge of Iran, Iraq and Syria,” the Arab spokesperson said regarding Suleimeani’s visit to Iraq.
“After the transfer of the ballistic missiles from Iran to the militant groups, there will be a war against Iran and despite Iraqi officials’ denial regarding the impartiality of their country, Iraq would play a major role in the US’ campaign against Iran,” he also predicted.
Havit provided more information regarding American troops in Iraq saying, “There are more than 100 thousand American troops in the bases in Iraq fully equipped and prepared.”
“We anticipate that war against Iran will have a triple frontier, naval, aerial, and from the ground. The ground assault will commence from Iraqi soil, and there is also the possibility of the involvement of other countries in the campaign against Iran’s regime,” he added.
