According to the statistics archived in the Avatodi news center, only in May 2024, at least 13 kolbar were killed or injured in the borders of Kurdistan, and 92% of these cases were killed by direct fire from the Iranian armed forces. The number of killed Kolbar has increased by 100% compared to April.
During this period of time, at least one 17-year-old Kolbar child from Sardasht, identified as Arian Mamandi, lost one of her eyes due to the firing of shotguns by the Iranian border gurd.
