Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has secretly sent loads of heavy machine guns to three gulf countries in last week, an informed source revealed to Avatoday.
“The weapons were secretly sent to Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar via sea” the sources said.
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added that the aim of sending weapon to gulf countries is “to be used against US forces in any possible confrontation between Tehran and Washington in the future.”
The Revolutionary Guards claimed that several attacks on Iranian forces in Iraq and Syrian originated from the three gulf countries.
Conflict Armament Research reported in December 2019 that Iran has sent military-grade explosive to Bahrain.
Manama has long blamed Iran for sending explosive to Bahrain. In 2015, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Khalifa, Foreign Ministry of Bahrain blamed Iran for smuggling explosives that could destroy the capital city of Manama.
