Two unites of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Nabi Akram and Najaf, with the help of their employees inside Kermanshah province have reportedly withdrew money from victims of earthquake, document obtained by Avatoday Shows.

Documents shows that Hoshang Bazovand, the governor of Kermanshah, is taking care of the process of withdrawal, helping the IRGCs to prevent the corruption from being leaked.

According to a document received by Avatoday, referring to a memorandum No.71/1/9279 on March 18, 2018, Ramezan unit of IRGC have withdrew some $100,000 from a bank account, which belonged to the public financial help to the victims of a 7.3 magnitude earthquake which hit Kermanshah in November 2017.

Najaf unite also took $100,000 from the account according to memorandum No. 71/1/92798.

According to another memorandum No. 71/1/92797, Nabi Akram unit also withdrew the same amount from the bank account.

After publishing the document by Avatoday, Mohammad Reza Rahimi, deputy of Kermanshah governor approved that the documents are real, but denied the purpose of the withdrawal.

“The authenticity of the document is confirmed,” Rahimi told Kermanshah media, “the memorandum was in request of The Crisis Management of the province to cover some expenses of the services they have provided after the earthquake.”

Rahimi rejected the news of corruption and claimed that similar memorandums exist between the governorate and police, army, and Ministry of Agriculture.
