Iran’s ambassador to the United Nation Majid Takht Ravanchi called the Instrument in Support of Trade Exchange as useless as “a beautiful car which is out of gasoline.”

In May 2018, US president Donald Trump withdrew from Iran’s nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

“Iran is committed to rendering the necessary cooperation in order to keep the JCPOA alive, but the other parties to the agreement, too, should allow Iran to benefit from the interests of the deal and should make efforts to make it survive,” Takht Ravanchi said.

He also criticized the United Nation of taking up policies that are against his country.

“In our opinion, the United States’ anti-Iran policies are to blame for the chaos in the Persian Gulf,” he noted.

Tehran has already reduced its own committees under the nuke deal as it accused European countries of their lack of interest in saving the treaty.
