After 18 months have passed since the illegal arrest of the committed Kurdistan artist by the terrorist forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Saman Yasin protested in a letter about his precarious situation and the lack of medical treatment by the prison authorities.

On Tuesday, February 27, an Instagram account attributed to Saman Saidi, known as Saman Yassin, announced in a news that he had received a letter from this imprisoned artist addressed to Mohsen Ajei, the head of the Islamic Republic of Judiciary.

In this letter addressed to the head of the Judiciary, Saman Yassin protested the undecided status of his case and wrote:

"I have spent 18 months in a state of complete uncertainty in Tehran and Karaj prisons. I am imprisoned without any documents. In these 18 months, court dates have been set for me many times, but they have not been held."

He points to the psychological pressure imposed on him by the Iranian security forces and adds: "I am still struggling with mental and physical problems, and the incompetent prison officials still refuse to send me to medical centers. Please." Tell me what crime I have committed? If I am guilty, then imprison me, if I am not guilty, issue a restraining order."

He further points to the brutality of the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the injustice of Iran's judicial system, and reminds: "I don't know what the reason for all this anger and harassment of the judicial system towards me means.

I can no longer tolerate prison and uncertainty for a crime that neither you nor I know about. That's why I ask you to execute me."

Saman Yassin says in the conclusion of his protest letter: "Please issue my death sentence! I have no objection and I give my written consent and sign it. My life has been torn apart, and you have taken away my mental and physical health. You mock-executed me, several times you took me to the hospital, what is left to do to me? Take my life too, I've been living with your fake promises and lies for 18 months, I'm tired, finish it."

Saman Saidi, known as Saman Yasin, is a popular Kurdish rapper from Kermanshah. He was accused of waging war against God by the Revolutionary Court and sentenced to death due to his participation in the Women, Life, Freedom movement.

However, the Supreme Court did not confirm this verdict and referred his case for further investigation. Since then, this Kurdish artist has been in an uncertain situation.
