Ahead of new US sanctions, Tehran is using different ways to send weapon to the pro-Iranian forces in Syria, new documents obtained by Avatoday shows.

Previously, Avatoday revealed that Islamic Republic of Iran transfers weapon and ammunition to Syria via Mahan Air. New documents show that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is transferring weapon with a new airline, reported as Iran Air Tour.

According to the classified documents, “an A300-600 Airbus with registration code of EP-MNN belonging to Mahan Air is now given to Iran Air Tour to transfer the ammunitions from Mashhad to Damascus.”

The document reveals that four more Mahan Airbuses are planned to be granted to Iran Air Tour for the same usage.

An airplane belonging to Fars Air Qeshm also transferred weapon and ammunition from Emam Khomeini Airport to Damascus on Sunday.

EP-MNS was supposed to be given to Syrian Airline. Right after the news was revealed, an airplane belonging to Mahan Air caught in fire in Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport which led to the evacuation of the area that the Mahan Airplanes stay.

Islamic Republic of Iran changed the method of transferring ammunition to Syria after its bases have been attacked frequently by Israel in last year.

Middle Eastern countries have always criticized Islamic Republic for supporting terrorist groups and Intervening in internal affairs of the regional countries.
