Iranian cells with the help of Assad’s regime are reportedly distributing leaflets in Syrian towns and villages, asking people to rise up against “the coalition forces and Americans” and force them to leave the country, the Syrian observer reported on Wednesday citing the opposition forces.

“It is time to join hands in the face of greedy invaders,” parts of the papers read. “There is no place for the criminal Americans on our soil, they are murders of children, old people and women.”

Iran has been highly investing in Syrian war and have its own forces, proxies and military bases inside the country, despite global calls for its withdrawal. Iranian bases have been under constant attacks by Israel.

The leaflets, which have been separating by both regime forces and Iranian cells among Syrians, are also calling for actions against foreign forces.

“Let us stand united against them in order for Syria to return as a land of security and stability,” read the letters. “It is our right to have a safe and secure life for our children.”

The letters reportedly came days after people in those areas demonstrated against Assad’s forces and asked Iranians to leave their country.
