An Iranian civil activist from the Bakhtiari Lurs ethnic minority was reportedly killed by intelligence forces in the city of Esfahan.
Kaveh (Jamshid) Limouchi was arrested by intelligence forces last month before he tortured to death and his body was found in a park in Esfahan.
Limouchi was a member of cultural center for the Bakhtiari Lurs in Khuzestan and Esfahan. He was previously arrested by security forces for his cultural activities.
He condemned once a TV program on national Iranian broadcast “for offending Bakhtiari famous figures in history.”
According to the information received by Avatoday, Limounchi’s family was threatened by the intelligence forces and forced them to keep their son’s death in silence.
