The citizens of Faizabad neighborhood of Sanandaj, while they were making the initial preparations for the Nowruz fire ceremony, were forced to cancel their predetermined plans due to the massive attack of the terrorist forces of the Islamic Republic.

 According to the repotrt recived by Avatoday, on the evening of Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the people of Faizabad, one of the densely populated areas of Sanandaj, planned to hold a ceremony related to the Kurdish New Year, known as Nowruz, but the forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran threatened the organizers of this ceremony and prevented it from being held.

This action of the agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the reaction and anger of the people, and for several hours there was a conflict between the parties, and the people also threw stones at the cars of the repressors of the Islamic Republic.

From one month before the beginning of Nowruz day to two weeks after that, the Kurdish nation organizes special ceremonies for the beginning of the Kurdish New Year and uses this opportunity to express its disgust with the Islamic Republic.
